Love rarely follows a straight road. When feelings become tangled, it can be hard to know whether to stay, go, or simply wait.

Name what you value

Before asking what the other person feels, ask what matters to you in a relationship: honesty, ease, growth, shared plans. Clarity often begins there.

A three-card reflection

  • Card one: what I bring to this relationship.
  • Card two: what I need that is missing.
  • Card three: what would help me see clearly.

Talk, then reflect

Reflection is valuable, but it is not a substitute for conversation. Use what you learn to begin an honest exchange with the person involved, and seek support from friends or a counsellor when things feel heavy.

The heart knows things, but it still needs words.
