The old village way to draw affection

Lubczyk, lovage, takes its name from the Polish word for "to like." Haggath teaches that love magic should open you, not bind anyone else.

What you need

  • A small handful of dried lovage
  • A few rose petals
  • A spoonful of honey

How to prepare

  1. Pour a litre of boiling water over the herbs and cover for fifteen minutes.
  2. Strain, then stir in the honey clockwise.
  3. Add it to a warm bath, or pour it over yourself after a shower.
  4. While you soak, think about how you want to feel when you are loved — not about a particular person.

Air-dry if you can. Haggath's lovage and love blends are in her shop.
