Meet Haggath: The Village Witch Outside Kraków
Old Slavic folk spells, cast by hand at the edge of the pine forest

An hour from Kraków, where the fields meet the pine forest, there is a small wooden hut. Inside lives Haggath, a village witch who casts the old Slavic and Polish folk spells her grandmother taught her.
A family craft
The women of Haggath's family have cast these spells for longer than anyone remembers: for sweethearts, for sick cows, for bad luck that sticks to a house "like soot." She keeps those ways alive today.
No theatre, no nonsense
Haggath's approach is plain and practical. She lights the candle, speaks the old words, and does the work herself, by hand. Her materials are humble ones: beeswax, red thread, salt and herbs from her own garden.
Discretion
What clients tell her stays private. In her words, it stays "between us and the candle."
You can read more and browse her spells at Haggath's shop.
